Someone has performed a month of sysadmin blogging over at http://sysadvent.blogspot.com/: some good stuff in there. In particular, I found Day 2 - Windows Powershell interesting (hotwire is an example of something similar in the UNIX world) and Day 24 - Message Brokers is relevant for me as we're looking at implementing some message queueing stuff at work.
