I have a fairly complex (and in some ways unsatisfactory) system in place for my personal mail. I tried to document it once, but things have moved on quite a bit since then.

At work, I've been using Outlook for the last 20 months or so. Today I finally had enough, so I apt-get install evolution-exchange and took a look at evolution, the GNOME desktop's "flagship" product.

I don't very much like evolution at all, but it did at least allow me to setup a filtering arrangement whereby it will poll Exchange, find mail, and move it across to a private IMAP server.

So I've bit the bullet and I'm now using mutt for my work mail as well as my personal mail. Adapting my existing system to incorporate my work's workflow will probably give me an excuse to update my "Mail Nirvana" document.
