jmtd → computing → halfcoded
Some time ago, I had the idea of a sourceforge-esque hosting site for software projects which were really not much more than half-formed, back-of-the-envelope ideas. I felt there was value in sharing these ideas to see if there was any group interest in them. They could then be collaboratively fleshed out and eventually grow into a 'real' project, to be hosted by a 'real' sourceforge-esque site.
I didn't really take the idea very far (the idea itself remained 'halfcoded') but I did buy a domain (halfcoded.net) for the purpose.
Sometime after that I started using 'halfcoded' as a tag for categorising projects which haven't progressed beyond the envelope. Nowadays I just describe them (perhaps more pessimistically) as shelved.
